CLUB's most recent fundraiser for LIGHTS AT LOBO FIELD: 2014 Elevation 5K was a success!

The Elevation 5K Run/Walk and Family Dash (held Saturday, July 12 at 8:00 AM) in Conifer, CO was a fundraiser for LIGHTS and Athletic Field Improvements at Conifer High School in partnership with the Conifer Community Trails team!
This course celebrates the Conifer Trails. The trail takes you around the scenic Aspen Park neighborhoods of Conifer (average Elevation 8100 feet!) on some paved and some dirt roads.
CANNON START at 8:00 AM - Runners, then Walkers, Families with strollers or kids-on- bikes, Dog walkers (A shortened 2 mile course available)
This event is followed by an all day event on Sutton Street with music, food and vendors at the 2nd Annual Conifer Elevation Celebrations. (First 50 registrants to show their bib at the Elevation Celebration get a free beer - I.D. required)

Ways to Register
At registration, tell us what organized school or youth sport/activity you are running for. The organization with the greatest response will receive a donation. Last year it was WJE Girls on the Run!
This race will be followed by the Conifer Elevation Celebration, a free, all day event providing entertainment by several local bands, a variety of food, gift vendors and artisans. Stay and CELEBRATE! More information about the Elevation Celebration will be available on the Conifer Chamber of Commerce website, go to http://www.goconifer.com
Awards given to top male & female in the following age categories: 0-7, 8-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. A pottery item from Conifer High School students will be given with awards. Awards will be presented on the Main Elevation Celebration Stage. Random bib drawing winners will win prizes too, so stick around and enjoy the fun.
Start and Finish at Conifer's West Jeff Elementary School. This course takes you on a scenic loop around the North and South Aspen Park neighborhoods of Conifer. Beginning on the north side of Hwy 285 you will take the new CONIFER TRAIL clockwise along, under and over Hwy 285, up and down hills, and on many dirt roads. Walkers and families have the option of a shortened 2 mile course.

From C470 take Hwy 285 South for 13 miles to reach Conifer. Exit onto Barkley Road. From Evergreen follow Hwy 73 South to Barkley Road in Conifer. Signs will direct you to parking at West Jeff Elementary and Conifer Community Church. The starting line will form at the WJE Elementary play lot (south end of Sutton Street.)

No dogs may run in the 5K, so please have a buddy with you to watch your pet if you plan to participate in both the 5K Run and the Fun Run.
One dog per person in the Fun Run. Multiple people may walk with one dog, but we ask that one person not walk more than one dog in the event.
Please display proper dog license and ID tags on your pet's collar and keep him or her on a short leash and under control at all times. No flex leads permitted. Dogs must be healthy.
We ask that participating pets be current on vaccinations (proof not required), at least 6 months of age and not be in heat/season.
Please be kind to your four-legged companion and maintain a leisurely pace during the Fun Run.
Water will be available for purchase and we will provide water for human and dog walkers and runners, but you are also welcome to bring your own water and containers from home.
No aggressive dogs.
Owners are responsible for the actions of their dogs. If a patron is unable to control the behavior of their pet, we reserve the right to ask them to leave.
Owners must clean up after their dog. Intermountain Humane Society will have doggy waste bags available for all participants and trash receptacles for your convenience.
Do not feed dogs without owner’s permission.
No dog should be left unattended.
